CORE Policy Committee goals:

Elevate entrepreneurship as an economic development strategy. Prioritize and pursue policy initiatives that help entrepreneurs succeed. Create a fertile environment for increased resources for effective providers of entrepreneur support services. Promote collaboration among CORE partners, and the power of collaboration, to create a more efficient and responsive system of support for entrepreneurs.

2007 Targeted Small Business Opportunity Act
BILL SUMMARY HB 3027

Summary: HB 3027 promotes entrepreneurship in Oregon by supporting the development of a statewide infrastructure. HB 3027, otherwise known as the Targeted Small Business Opportunity Act of 2007, amends ORS 285A.346 to include additional funding for services to disadvantaged entrepreneurs and infrastructure for Microenterprise development in distressed rural and urban areas.
