Overview
The Small Business Development Act of 1980, Title II of Public Law 96-302, established the SBDC as a national program eligible for continued congressional funding. Today, the SBDC Program is a major management assistance delivery program of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and its managed by the SBA's Office of Small Business Development Centers.
